Born October 25th, 1999 in Berkeley, California, Tyler Burns Or TH. (pronounced  “TEE-EICH-DOT”) is an independent self-taught artist, with mentorship from Bay Area legend Jasko “Sko Habibi”. Tyler’s early years were spent playing Soccer competitively from ages 9-18, and he spent 3 years training in Europe at the professional soccer club, NK Dinamo Zagreb. In the year 2018, Tyler returned to the Bay Area. His path was uncertain, but he no longer wanted to pursue Soccer. This was a major life change. Tyler felt lost. He did not know who he was or what he wanted to do. Life felt like a deep, dark hole, a future that was unclimbable.

One rainy day, Tyler discovered an original “Sko Habibi” Denim jacket hanging on the wall of a local Crossroads thrift store. Jasko, being Tyler’s former soccer coach, was a phone call away. Tyler told him about the jacket. It turned out someone had stolen it from his car and taken it to Crossroads to sell. Offering to return it to Jasko, he told Tyler to keep it and to wear it. Tyler always loved fashion; what he didn’t know was that he loved designing clothes. Jasko began teaching Tyler to sew and upcycle. Tyler found his love and passion for artistry, and from then on, he has not stopped creating.
